Targeted mark A1 for LSS Test mark A1 for LSS with 31/40 Reflection I feel that even though i had scored A1 for the test, i still believe that there is more space for improvement. Even though it’s an A1, i am still not the best in the class and also out of the 9 marks; half of them are actually careless mistakes. I should had worked harder and concentrated while doing having the exam as to prevent these errors. I scored full marks for my MCQ so there should be no problem with it. However, i did not do well in the long answer section as i did not really understood some of the topics included in this test well enough, causing me to had misconceptions in some answers and experiments. I not asking questions to clarify my doubts also worsen this whole matter. Maybe i should really reflect and try to hide my shyness, and ask the teacher for anything i do not know.

Reflection Arh, a C5, and the worst result I have ever gotten so far. However, i think that me being complacent that I got an A1 last year and last term also contributes to this problem. I should be more humble and study hard....Not only that, i felt that i was not listening to class, sleeping and dozing off sometimes during the class. For this test, my weakest part was the long answer section where i had all the ideas of how to answer but i do not know how to write them out, causing my answers to be misunderstood by the marker and marks were not awarded. Also, i also lost some marks in the MCQ but the problem is not big as those were just some small careless mistakes which can be overcome with being more careful while working on the questions. As for the language part, i feel that i should most probably do more English so as to improve my language, aiding me in expressing my answers.

Reflection Oh yeah, my marks improved! It was indeed a huge jump from C5 to A1. However, I think it was not only because of my hard work that I had put in this term, I feel that it was because the exam itself was rather easy. Thus, I feel that there are still lots of room for improvement especially when everyone is getting A1 yet I can lose 4.5 marks. Apparently, most of these 4.5 marks was lost because I did not draw the light rays correctly and thus, caused me these marks. Before the exam, I was thinking that drawing the ray diagram was easy and I did not practise much. This complacency had cost me much. I should really stop being so complacent as Science is something that requires lots of memorizing and practising. Nevertheless, it is a good thing I got A1 but it is too early to be happy. I should actually start doing the exercise books bought by my parents for me to do. WORK HARD for the 70% in the final EXAM!!!
